The whole AJ and Morgan is obviously a mirror of Dawson and Joey. And then they break up. Well, I was always in a mixed mood about AJ anyway. The whole Pacey being a mentor thing is cool. He’s showing his true spirit as ever. Jen makes a return offering some quality advice.
I knew it! Mainly because I’ve seen it before. Mitch is there!
I’m sure that corner is the one Mitch will later, well, you know. But yeah, where Pacey has stopped, it’s the same place he stops when he gives Dawson the talk.
He kissed her! And cut to credits, nice ending.

Look at Joey go! No! Don’t kiss AJ in front of Pacey! Don’t worry Pacey, she will realise eventually.
It’s true, Dawson is the same hero he ever was. Though Joey and Pacey are really leading the series, Dawson is always there to back it up.
Finally, Pacey gets a thank you!

Andie is soooo going to confess. I’d really like to make a show without such moral tales. How about a show where the protagonist actually is an anti-hero in a teen drama?
I still feel sorry for Dawson about what happened at the festival but he was completely his own fault for submiting such a Blair Witch clone. He is really trying to help Joey though and she is just getting at him.
Yeah, Dawson owned him! And Pacey game in with the quipping too.
Oh no! Pacey has told Joey that Dawson asked him to look after her.

Ah Valentine’s Day, what a depressing day. It’s a time for those of us not in relationships to scheme how we can split those of you who are, up. Valentine’s Day on the Creek is equally intreging.
Jack and Kate huh? And maybe Dawson and Kate too, it’s all going on. Aww, I feel sorry for Henry, he tries too hard.

Joey and AJ huh? While Pacey and Andie freak out about the play. Jen and Henry moving forward too. It’s all happening on the cape. Well maybe not given Jen bought Grams. Since when did Pacey have sideburns? Ahm costume maybe? Yep, of course, really should be paying more attention. Need to blog about the episode at the same time though
.
Dawson: At least the other two guys, they were having fun. Whereas I’m just not anymore.
Dawson has some stuff to work through.

Awww, it’s all working out so well. But would everyone really be dancing? I mean the music seems non-diagetic so theyprobably aren’t actually dancing to music. When you take that away they are just acting weird.
Ok, so it wasn’t Henry. I admit it, I was wrong. Bodie is back though! It’s all so happy! Do you think Fred Fricke is a Trekkie?
Awww, Jack, Jen and Grams are all doing the group hug thing. I can’t believe Jack is moving back home. And Pacey and Joey huh? Something is developing there.

Look at Jack go!
I’m not sure if Dawson and Nikki working together is a good idea. Two head-strong directors working on the same project is probably never a good idea.
Dawson taking his posters down? What’s going on? And he closed his window too! That’s Joey’s window!

To be honest, Dawson was asking for a beating by submiting such a Blair Witch knock-off to a film festival.
Dawson: My suspicions are confirmed – you are, a really big geek.
Who does that remind me of? :p.
The other thing I should probably discuss is that this is the first good episode of season 3. The words of Paul Stupin, or at least the sentiment. He did the audio commentary on this rather than the first episode because of the whole messed up, silly plotlines, Eve problems and so on.

Pacey and Jen having sex in Dawson’s bed? What madness is this? Well they didn’t go through with it but still.
Jack: You know, you really should have your own website. www.annoyingsister.com.
Andie is so living though Jack, she needs to let him do this in his own time.
Oh wow, that must have been hard for Dawson. Although now they know they are dancing they realise they aren’t having sex right? This is getting complicated. The social implications of ballroom dancing seem to be quite intense.
To be honest, I think Dawson has a right to ask why he found that condom in his room. I mean, yeah if Pacey wants to go after Joey then maybe that’s ok (maybe, but I’d be annoyed if one of my friend’s started dating another friend I’d been dating).
Busted! Here comes Joey’s big speech but then I think Pacey and Jen actually have a good thing going. Plus in a few years they can look back and laugh. Which is something they really should have done in a later series, where are the long arcs?
What a cool zoom out camera shot on Jack and Andie sat at the dining room table with the candles and all.
Joey needs to stop championing the true love quest. Yeah it’s good but if two people want to get together for a completely casual relationship, they should be free to.
